Taylor Swift has planned a live webcast on Scholastic.com to talk to kids about the power of reading. Read Now with Taylor Swift reached millions of students in 2010, and now Taylor will once again participate in the 30-minute event hosted by MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway. She’ll discuss how literature has helped shape her songwriting and even perform a song from her forthcoming album Red. The webcast happens on October 24th at 2PM Eastern on the website, but it’s only available to teachers who register their class in advance.
