Had one of the BEST Thanksgivings in a while. Spent it with my girlfriend Michelle, her mom, dad, her sister Nina, Nina's husband Louis and their two kids. Had a fried turkey and a baked one. Plus every side possible. I gained a least 8 pounds...ok maybe 10 pounds, but that's it. Nina's son Andrew got a little pie on his face. We laughed...but he wasn't having that.
Now...who's ready for Christmas?
I love the story behind this song. It's dedicated to Luke's brother and sister who passed on. This song hits close to home for me. I lost my mom in 2007 and that was such a hard loss for me. She ment the world to me and she loved me more than I could ever know. Durring the holidays, birthdays and special moments in life. Sometimes drinking a beer is the only thing that helps. If you know the loss of someone..."Drink A Beer."
Went the movies over the weekend. My girlfriend Michelle, her sister, her sister's husband and myself checked out Hunger Games Catching Fire this past Saturday night. The theater was packed full of people. It was AMAZING! I thought it was better than the first one. Hated the ending though. It was a cliff hanger ending and now I'll have to wait another 2 years for third to see what happens. I would read the books, but I don't like reading books. They take up to much of my time. The movie is well worth watching.
I grew up in Texas and on the beach. I love CO Springs and I do love the snow. But...being from Texas...I don't know how to drive in snow. Even a dusting of snow kills me. I moved here last Decemeber. I've slid through a few to manny red lights already and slid into a lot of curbs. My car insurance people love me and if it was not for my girlfriend, Michelle, I would've not made it today. A BIG thanks to Michelle for driving me today and everyday from here on out when it looks like this. I think she has snow driving leasons for me soon...hope not. But I feel it's coming.
